As an associate of the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association, Graham Allen (CMM Rural and NRGsense) was a guest at the House of Commons on the evening of Tuesday 1st March.
The Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Agriculture for Wales and Shadow Minister of Agriculture set forth their vision, parliamentary aims and perceived future involvement in agricultural biotechnologies. The propositions were broadly welcomed, albeit some with surprise.
Following a vote of thanks by the ADBA, guests were able to network and discuss their responses with members of the house, in order to inform how agricultural and environmental planning can best develop. In addition to championing ongoing growth in the sector, Graham seized the opportunity to raise awareness, questions and to fact-find regarding future funding in the agroindustry.
